Deputy Director and Coordinator of Mission and Discipleship – Agency for Evangelisation
The Catholic Diocese of Westminster is home to the Archbishop of Westminster, Westminster Cathedral, 214 parishes and 215 schools in seventeen Local Authorities in London north of the river, Hertfordshire and Surrey and is a registered charity of significant proportions.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and creative individual as a Deputy Director and Coordinator of Mission and Discipleship.
Situated in our offices in the heart of Victoria, the successful candidate for this role will assist in the strategic direction and management of the Agency for Evangelisation, and, driven by the Diocesan vision for the New Evangelisation as expressed in Proclaim Westminster: Building Missionary Parishes – Forming Missionary Disciples, to help create a culture of formation for mission across the whole Diocese. The successful applicant will ideally have experience in specific areas of departmental management, including budgetary management and compliance with statutory obligations and organisational requirements. The candidate will also help realise the vision of Evangelii Gaudium for a New Evangelisation.
The successful candidate must be a good team player with excellent communication and Microsoft office skills, including Word and Excel.
It is important that all applicants are self-motivated, organised, can multi task and work to deadlines. S/he must be able to work to their own initiative within this role.
S/he will also be a practicing Roman Catholic, able to demonstrate a living faith that s/he is happy to share with others.

Hours of work: 35 hours per week office based and across the Diocese, including some evening and weekend work
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 annual salary dependant on experience
