Diocesan Director of Education
The Diocese of Hallam serves the people of South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and parts of the High Peak of Derbyshire. The Diocese has a network of 50 schools providing for the formation and educational needs of approximately 17,000 children and young people.
Bishop Ralph Heskett and the Trustees are seeking to appoint a full time Director of Education to continue to promote high quality, authentically Catholic education. The successful candidate will support all schools of the diocese, whilst delivering the strategic vision to create two Catholic Multi-Academy Trusts in Hallam.
The Director of Education is the Bishop’s lead advisor on his schools in the diocese. The role is wonderfully varied and would suit the professional who thrives on challenges and working with people from different professional backgrounds and those with alternative perspectives.
The key roles are
The successful candidate will be a practising catholic, ideally already involved in their parish community. They will have a proven track record in a senior leadership role with experience of change management. The new Director of Education will have the ability to articulate and share the vision of Catholic education and the diocesan strategic plan.
Salary £90,000 per annum
